This paper presents the specific policy statements that have been adopted to guide the activities of Nepal's Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) during the country's 9th Development Plan. These statements are also intended to motivate ideas for subsequent plans through to the year 2012. The paper is modeled on the concept of a corporate plan and includes a vision statement, a mission statement, a statement of objectives and a statement of challenges and opportunities.
